Broader Community Outreach

Pysanky , or Ukrainian Easter Egg Painting, took place in Friendship Hall on April 9th. In total, 13 participants tried their hand at this ancient tradition with some exceptional results (as shown in these photos.) We thank Brenda, instructor, for her patience and encouragement as we wax spilled and dye dripped. Light refreshments were enjoyed, and one egg, once completed with massive amounts of care, was dropped. Regardless, a wonderful time was had by all. Brenda received 50% of our intake of funds for her expertise and materials, and the other 50% is going towards Ukrainian Relief. While $211.00 may not seem like an enormous donation towards the cause, it is a gift from our hearts as we do what we can.
